Extruder/Platform Temperature Settings
Let's share successful combinations of different filaments and platform coatings with extruder and platform temperature settings. I'll start with mine so far:
Filament: PLA (GP3D, Hatchbox, Seacans.com)
Platform Coating: Blue tape (included with Root Plus)
Extruder Temp: 220 deg C
Platform Temp: 60 deg C
Results: Successful adhesion and print completion

Re: Extruder/Platform Temperature Settings
Filament: Gold, Red PLA (Filaments.ca)
Platform Coating: Blue tape (3M 2090)
Extruder Temp: 228 deg C
Results: Successful adhesion and print completion
Notes: (jamming occurred below 227C)
Filament: White SemiFlex (Seacans.com)
Platform Coating: Glass (included with Root)
Extruder Temp: 230 deg C
Results: Successful adhesion and print completion
Notes: Germinate 1.0 print speed set to slow. Blue tape also worked, but SemiFlex tended to transfer some blue color from tape to the white filament during difficult removal.
Filament: Clear T-Glase (taulman3d.com)
Platform Coating: Blue Tape (3M 2090)
Extruder Temp: 235 deg C
Results: Successful adhesion and print completion
Notes: Print speed set to slow, .30 layers. See http://taulman3d.com/t-glase-optics.html

Re: Extruder/Platform Temperature Settings
Filament: ABS (Seacans.com)
Platform Coating: Blue tape (included with Root Plus)
Extruder Temp: 235 deg C
Platform Temp: 100 deg C
Results: Print successfully completed but poor adhesion and warping of raft
Update --
Platform Coating: Kapton tape
Results: Print failed, item warped enough that it got knocked off platform
Platform Coating: Kapton tape WITH hairspray
Results: Print successfully completed, very good adhesion, no warping of raft
Platform Coating: Blue tape WITH hairspray
