What is the voltage of the print head fan? Empty What is the voltage of the print head fan?

Hi fellow Root/Root Plus owners. What is the correct replacement part for the (40x40x10 mm) print head fan? In particular, I need to know the correct voltage. Is it a 12v part or a 24v part?

I do not know for certain, but every fan of that size I have used has been 12V.

I'm so glad you asked... that turns out to be the problem with my printer. Support is having problems getting a replacement.
If you remove the fan, you will see the specs:
Maker: Shengshida
Type: Brushless DC fan
Model: SD4010L1S
DC: 19V .05A

SO...
anyone know where to get one?

EDIT: It's 1.6cm square, so 16mm
I'm having a hard time finding one

Thanks for the info. Now we know. I am surprised that with as may times as I have had the fan off I never noticed the label.

hehehe. I actually ASKED the tech guy which fan they used, and then he told me and said it's on the label in the back. I just never noticed because when I take the fan off, I try to keep it aligned so I can put it back correctly.

I sheepishly admit that I have been running a 12V replacement fan exactly like the one shown above on my Root recently. It seems to be working (and sounding) just like the original. Standard disclaimers apply.

I still don't have my replacement fans.... apparently they will start shipping again on the 28th of June?

Where did you get your 12 V fan?
