Re: Stuttering filament
I'm starting to think something is not aligned properly.
are you using ABS or PLA?
try the max temp for each and see if that helps.

Re: Stuttering filament
Have you been printing with any unusual (non-PLA) filament types, such as highly transparent PET polymer, or semi-flex, or some other exotic type? I had those problems for a while after printing with both of those, and then they cleared up after I ran several PLA prints at slightly elevated temps (around 226C) for a few weeks. Now, I'm able to dial the temps back down to 205 - 210C degrees again, as I would expect from the filaments I'm using.

Re: Stuttering filament
I've been printing wood filament... maybe that does it... I cannot get it to feed at all past the stepper gear now though.
will have to disassemble and reassemble again to see if I mis-aligned something.

Re: Stuttering filament
welp.. while testing various filaments... I noticed that the fan isn't working, so it's letting the filament jam up at the top of the metal feed.

220, but the tech support said to go up to 230 while cleaning it out.Asphalt wrote:PLA, what is the MAX temp?
