Auto Calibrate never stops
I seelct auto-level, and the print head goes side to side
the build plate goes back and forth
the build plate never raises, they just sit there and play forever.
am I doing something wrong?
I decided to auto-level because when I try to print without a raft, the print head digs into the glass and the stepper cannot advance any filament.. once it gets high enough to advance filament, the stepper has stopped working unless you press down HARD on the filament to get it to restart.

Re: Auto Calibrate never stops
re-looked,and it actually says auto-calibrate. sorry for confusion....
how do you level this darned thing...
with a raft, the raft prints, then the object.
without a raft, it digs into the plate.

Re: Auto Calibrate never stops
OK - I got a good response from GP3D. You need to use your PC to calibrate the z-axis
they say
First things first, the auto-Calibrate feature on the printer is the result of poor labeling, what it should have been called is level checker. The auto-calibrate simply moves the nozzle around the printing plate so that you may check to see how level your printing plate is, by gauging the distance between nozzle and print plate. Now I’m going to help you walk through the Z height calibration process:
and they gave me real good instructions which I will place in the tips and tricks
