Exporting STL from Sketchup

Post by Asphalt on Sat Oct 24, 2015 7:13 pm

Anyone know how to keep my dimensions from shifting when exporting an STL from Sketchup? I made a 3 inch X 3 inch sculpture, but when I open it in germinate it is about 3mmX3mm.

don't have sketchup, but did a quick search:

You set the default units for the Measurements box in the Units panel of the Model Info dialog box (which is on the Window menu)

after using all of the export options, it appears that regardless of which unit template you use, you have to export in millimeters. which makes sense as I remember that being an issue from my shape ways days.
